Tubular Solenoids

Tubular Solenoids (sometimes called Cylindrical Solenoids) are at the higher-end of Cost vs. Magnetic Force vs. Size spectrum. Reference Designs are available in both pull and push styles.

The increased magnetic force generated by the Tubular Solenoid is derived from the cylindrical steel housing which completely surrounds the coil, thereby providing the most complete path for magnetic flux.

Tubular solenoids are typically used in applications which demand the smallest size and highest possible performance.
