MACHINE OPERATOR
Magnet-Schultz of America, part of Magnet-Schultz Worldwide located in Westmont, IL, is a well established manufacturer of electro-magnetic devices, valued added assemblies and precision machine components.
Qualifications:
- Five (5) to Seven (7) years of experience in the operation of CNC Lathes or Swiss Turning Machines. Operations include boring, milling, turning and brazing.
Job Duties and Responsibilities:
- Operates and adjusts multi-axis CNC (computer numerically controlled) machinery to perform standard and repetitive sequences of operations where programs are provided and setups are maintained by others.
- Employs recognized tooling and procedures.
- Ability to read and interpret blue print specifications while exacting close tolerances.
- Ability to transfer metric to inches.
- Check parts for conformance to specifications.
- Work in a fast pace facility with the ability to operate more than one machine involving short cycle times.
- Ability to operate or working knowledge of Swiss Turning and Lathe Turning machinery.
Physical Requirements:
- Maximum lift is 40 lbs.
- Position requires 8-10 hours of standing/walking.
