Founded in the western suburbs of Chicago in 1955 as Regdon Solenoid, the company was acquired in 1987 by Magnet-Schultz Memmingen (MSM) in Germany. MSM has been in business since 1912, and, with more than 1600 employees, MSM is the World's largest independent solenoid manufacturer and maker of Electromagnetic products. Since becoming part of Magnet-Schultz World-Wide, Magnet-Schultz of America (MSA) has significantly expanded its operations to over 150 employees, working out of a 42,000 square foot facility (located in Westmont, IL, 22 miles west of downtown Chicago and 15 miles south of O'Hare airport).

Advanced engineering and design capabilities allow MSA to participate in highly custom, very sophisticated, solenoid designs, as well as complete value added sub-assemblies. By providing smaller size, higher force, longer life solutions, our customer's end-products simply out perform their competition.

Our Electromagnetic product solutions are available in standard and customized standard solenoid offerings, as well as full custom designs which are tailored to exactly meet customer performance requirements.

Our Solenoid CNC machining capabilities are well suited to meet the build-to-print demands of a broad spectrum of our customer's precision sensitive, high-tech turned component requirements.
